Wish you could say ‘no’ more often?

Saying no isn’t always easy. You want to be helpful, you want to be supportive, and you of course don’t want to feel that awkwardness about declining when someone asks something of you. But at what cost?

In this episode we’ll share our own personal experiences with saying no and why we think it’s one of the most empowering - and respectful - things you can do.

Points Discussed in this Episode
  • When do you find it most difficult to say no?
  • Don’t put pressure on yourself to answer right away; give yourself space to think about it
  • The regret and resentment you feel when you say ‘yes’ - you’re doing that to yourself
  • Saying no to a request, but providing an alternative in order to still be supportive
  • Anytime you say yes to something, you’re saying no to everything else
  • Saying no as a sign of respect - for yourself and for the person asking
  • 3 ways to say no, without actually saying no
